The 26th Annual Cardiovascular Conference at Lake Louise will be held March 21-25, 2010.

ACC Lake Louise, in Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, provides a five-day scientific program on the latest diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive approaches to cardiovascular disease. Faculty are among those who set the worldwide cardiovascular agenda. This accredited event has a 25-year tradition of excellence.

The conference is designed to benefit cardiologists, internists, cardiovascular surgeons, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals interested in cardiovascular medicine and surgery. The program consists of lectures, panel discussions, knowledge translation workshops.

Lake Louise offers family-friendly ski runs for all levels of ability, as well as miles of beautiful cross-country ski trails. Special lift ticket discounts are available for conference attendees and their families.

In addition to skiing, visitors to Lake Louise are able to enjoy ice skating on the lake and the amenities of the fully equipped health club. You can also experience dog- and horse-sled rides, or pamper yourself in the newly updated spa. Residents Research Competition Update
The ACC Lake Louise Conference aims to support and encourage case-based clinical research among cardiology and cardiac surgery residents and fellows. Residents and fellows in Canadian training programs are invited to participate in the 2010 ACC Lake Louise Residents’ Research Competition. For information about this competition, click here. Note that the deadline for abstracts has been extended to Feb. 13. The three winning finalists will be announced Feb. 18.
